JOHNSTONE TOWN HALL

JOHNSTONE

DESCRIPTION:

Construction of a new Town Hall which is home to a range of modern community facilities including Johnstone library, a theatre space, ceremony suites, conference centre space and meeting spaces. The building also includes Police Scotland, Macmillan Cancer Support and a cluster of council services under one roof.

INVOLVEMENT:

Civil and structural design included the design of the steel frame and reinforced concrete pad foundations and the tension wire grid above the theatre space. Involved in the complex coordination of the different cladding systemss.
