Clydebank Community Sport Hub
Struer Consulting Engineers are delighted to have been involved in the Clydebank Community Sport Hub project which was winner of the Architecture Grand Prix award at the recent Scottish Design Awards 2019. The project included partial demolition and extension to an existing gym hall to create the new Community Sport Hub. The project also included redevelopment of pitches, allotments, community garden and landscaping.
The Project won a further award in the Design Grand Prix category for the 4 cast concrete artwork panels. The panels were made up of a grid of individual tiles and these were decorated by children from Whitecrook Primary and Glasgow Gaelic School, based around the theme of sport and or Clydebank itself.
